HeartBreaker

I trusted, I cared, I was always there
You played with my heart and broke it apart
You played me you lied did you even care?
When will you learn, it's not a toy, my heart?
She's just a shadow, a faded photo
Love is not a test, so why choose to cheat?
You built me up high, then brought me down low
You started this and left me in the heat
Now I'm lost stuck and waiting to be found
I've been thrown around and the scars are deep
You left, abandoned no trace or sound
Memories of laughter make me weep
And now you're gone, left me in the dark
But my heart will forever bear your mark.

-The poem I wrote was a Shakespearean Sonnet. I wrote about this topic because it was something that was going on in my life and I wanted to just get everything out using a poem.
